PLANT DISTRIBUTION ACCOUNTANT
Greencastle, PA 17225 Job Duties:
*Coordinate the Physical Inventories with Customer Distribution channels, Shipping and Receiving. *Help prepare of monthly financial records and reports, analysis as needed to support the Facility, Corporate, and Division Management. *Complete Month End and Year End Close along with audit schedules as requested. *Help prepare Monthly Financial Statements as required by Corporate, Site and Division management. *Coordinate with other Financial Analysts in consolidation and review of the Annual Business Plan *Create and prepare the Annual Standard Cost Plan and measure actual results and variances on a monthly basis. Assist as needed reviewing Bill of materials and Routers. *Standard cost analysis and control (labor/burden/overhead rate control).
*Oversee and ensure the effectiveness of all Financial and Accounting activities at the site.
*Assist Management in interpreting financial statements and other financial data as needed.
*Monitor capital spending, reconcile property, plant, and equipment accounts monthly. Job Qualifications: *BS in Accounting/Finance
*5-10 years experience in a manufacturing/distribution environment.
*Experience managing inventory and transportation cost effectively.
*AP/AR, Payroll, budgets, financials and monthly statements.
*Maximize warehouse/facilities utilization cost and profitability systems.
*Must be able to work well under deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
*Working knowledge of automated inventory systems.
*SAP experience desired.
